FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre
The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre presents a six-show series aptly titled, PAIRINGS, featuring award-winning artists ‘paired’ with local artists and matched with Niagara wineries for a truly unique musical experience.
Robertson Theatre will be transformed into a beautiful production space for a live concert event for 25 pairs to enjoy, in-person. This will be a sensory light and sound experience to remember. Each livestream will be professionally filmed and captured in real-time by Fourgrounds Media to enhance the online viewing experience.
DIZZY & FAY
Somewhere in the night a melody spills out of a smokey alley and bounces down the cobblestone. That’s where you’ll find Dizzy & Fay; through the secret door in your heart, singing love songs to the American Songbook. Dizzy & Fay co-write original jazz songs that echo timeless standards. Think late nights, jazz cigarettes, ASMRomance and songs you swear you’ve loved your whole life. Dizzy and Fay are Mark Lalama and Amanda Walther.
JUNO-Award winning artist Sammy Jackson is an emerging Jamaican-Canadian singer-songwriter recognized for her distinct sound, fusing elements of Jazz, R&B and Pop. Growing up, she regularly found opportunities to perform and develop as a musician, which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Performance specializing in Jazz Voice from the University of Toronto. In 2021, Sammy Jackson’s album “With You” won a Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.
