Emancipation Day in St. Catharines is an incredible day of music and celebration with live performances, workshops, face painting celebration, beach games, dancing, vendor market and food trucks.

- 1 p.m. to dusk: Vendor Market
- 1 p.m.: Soca Fit with Geisha Rene
- 1-6 p.m.: DJ MaBonzo bringing the vibezzz
- 2 p.m.: Heartland Beat drum circle for all ages and abilities
- 3-4 p.m.: – Afrobeat dance lesson by Dance N’ Culture
- 5 p.m.: Rennatha and Vybe
- 6 p.m.: Dwayne Morgan

Saturday, July 27
Participate in self-guided tours of Salem Chapel BME Church from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a tour talk led by Rochelle Bush from 12 to 1 p.m.
Thursday, August 1
Visit St. Catharines City Hall for the raising of the Pan African flag at 2 p.m., followed by a film screening of Soul at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre’s backyard.
