The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre presents Hear! Here! with The Mark Lalama Trio featuring Suzie Vinnick and Jeff Beadle in St. Catharines Sunday, April 7.
A unique live off-the-floor session led by the incomparable Mark Lalama Trio, made up of highly-sought after musicians Rich Moore, Davide DiRenzo and of course, Mark Lalama with each featuring a guest artist and local opener.
A Saskatoon native transplanted to the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada, Suzie Vinnick is the proud owner of a gorgeous voice, impressive guitar and bass chops and an engagingly candid performance style. Suzie has won 11 Maple Blues Awards, 1 Canadian Folk Music Award and is a 3X Juno Nominee. She has also twice won the International Songwriting Competition – Blues Category. Her latest album is entitled Fall Back Home.
Jeff Beadle, a Canadian folk singer-songwriter, was born into a music adoring family that encouraged his love for song writing. He started writing at 12 years old to immediate local recognition. He and a few school friends started playing local fairs, arcades and house parties – all with original song-writing. When in High School, he created multiple bands and attended all possible music classes while continuing to play live shows whenever he could.
