The St. Catharines Road Runners and Walkers are excited to announce the 33rd annual Twelve Mile Creek Trail Half Marathon and 7k Race in St. Catharines! The date is Saturday, June 3, 2023.
This year proceeds from the race will go to support the Niagara Rankin Cancer run.
Race Highlights
- Field limited to 275 participants in total for all three events combined
- Long sleeve t-shirt guaranteed to pre-registered runners, on or before date TBA at midnight.
- Returning runners and walkers for the half-marathon can get their names on the back of the shirts.
- Out and back and looped section on multiple rolling hills.
- 80% hard-packed gravel on meandering and picturesque 12 Mile Creek Trail also known as the historic Merritt Trail, in St. Catharines, Ontario.
- 6 electrolyte and water stations.
- Climb Hydro Hill, part of the Niagara Escarpment, and find out why runners keep coming back.
- The “7 km run” will be approximately 7 km. The route is currently secret but will likely include the infamous Hydro Hill.
