How to get around St. Catharines

Getting Around St. Catharines

Niagara Region Transit

Taking the city bus is an excellent way to get around St. Catharines. The Niagara Transit Commission is responsible for the operation, management and maintenance of Niagara’s comprehensive regional transit system and offers affordable, reliable and safe transportation throughout St. Catharines with connections to other Niagara municipalities and transit services.

All Niagara Region Transit (NRT) vehicles are fully accessible and equipped with bicycle racks (bikes are permitted on transit buses; passengers responsible for their own bicycles, including loading and unloading bicycles). NRT routes serve most neighbourhoods in St. Catharines, including downtown, Port Dalhousie, Merritton, Brock University and Fourth Avenue.
