Bossas and Ballads features the Sundar Quartet with Roy Patterson on guitar Sunday May 28. This show will focus on the bossa nova compositions of Antonio Carlos Jobim and ballads and blues by Duke Ellington, two composers/musicians who are heavy influences on the way Sundar thinks about melody and harmony. The music is highly lyrical and grooving!
Each Twilight Jazz Series show takes place from 6-9 p.m. and focuses on musicians from Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara.
